The Aquatics Facility features a 25-metre, eight-lane recreational and competitive pool with two 1-metre diving boards and two 3-meter diving boards as well as a stadium seating capacity of 660.  In addition to this, there is a leisure pool designed to accommodate a variety of programming and recreational swimming. The aquatics facility also offers a hot tub, waterslide and parent observation seating area.

Our aquatics facility is fully accessible to persons of any ability level.  Our change rooms offer wheelchair accessible dressing areas and showers.  The family changing room is equipped with changing rooms and lockers reserved for individuals with visual impairment. We also have a water-wheelchair, wheelchair lift, and a set of portable stairs which are designed to eliminate strain caused by ladders.  In addition to these features, our leisure pool has a ramp which begins at zero depth in order to accommodate users with limited mobility.

Safety Supervision

For the safety of our patrons, we have adopted a few very important policies.  The first is that all children under the age of 7 need to have an adult in the water with them with a ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.  Also, for children age 7-12, we suggest that an adult remain in the building with them.

For the privacy and comfort of our users is very important to us here at CARI.  For this reason we do not allow any cameras, or other electronic devices on the pool deck or inside the change rooms and viewing areas.

Pool Fouling 

Everyone is affected when a pool fouling occurs.  This is why we require that all babies, toddlers, and those without bowel control wear a water diaper.  Water diapers are available for purchase at our control desk.  Also, if you are feeling ill, we recommend that you do not come swimming.

Supervision 

For the safety of our patrons, we ensure you that trained professional lifeguards will be supervising the entire aquatics facility during operational hours.
