The positive environment of a fun, exciting and active summer makes our CARI Fun in the Sun Daycamp, a popular choice for children aged 6-12. Adding new and exciting activities and ideas each summer, our program stays up to date with all the current trends that children enjoy, creating an unforgettable experience for parents, campers and staff!
OUR STAFF
Our staff are energetic individuals with experience in recreation and children’s programming. All of our staff are trained in First Aid & CPR and have completed our comprehensive training program along with completing a criminal record check.
PROGRAM
With weekly themes, campers participate in a wide variety of activities that give them a chance to learn and develop new skills. To accomodate to all camper’s interests each day is equipped with activities that coincide with the theme week as well as a traditional mix of crafts, games, sports and opportunities to meet and make friends.
LUNCH PROGRAM
Campers with the CARI Fun in the Sun Daycamp can purchase a weekly lunch plan from East Side Mario’s Express which is located in the CARI Complex. All orders must be placed before 9:00AM on Monday of the respective week. Order forms can be obtained from the Control and Information Desk, a daycamp counselor or from East Side Mario’s Express. The weekly lunch program includes: 10 snacks (2 per day), 4 lunches (lunch is provided by CARI on Fridays) and 4 beverages.

Includes swimming lessons, boating or outdoors program and Fun in the Sun Daycamp.
Half Day Program................................$130.00/two weeks
Includes mornings only. Children will participate in swimming lessons & boating or outdoors program.
Red Cross Boating Program:
For children ages 9-12: These children will participate in a boating program that focuses on the fundamentals of rowing and canoeing as well as boat safety.
Red Cross Junior Outdoors Program:
For children ages 6-8: These children will participate in the outdoors program which teaches participants the fundamentals of outdoor ethics and respect for the environment.
Sessions start June 28th, July 12th, July 26th and August 9th.
